Local Realtors Gain Life-Saving Skills Through Women's Self-Defense Training

Posted

Female real estate professionals with The Cavender Team (powered by eXp Realty) recently participated in a 90-minute women's self-defense seminar led by Peace Force, equipping participants with practical strategies to increase personal safety both on and off the job.
The interactive seminar focused on helping women recognize potential threats before they escalate while building the confidence to respond effectively if confronted with danger. Participants learned situational awareness and prevention best practices, verbal boundary-setting skills, simple life-saving escape techniques and participated in realistic, adrenaline-based training exercises designed to simulate an actual encounter, according to a provided news release.
Before the seminar, participants completed a confidence assessment regarding their ability to protect themselves. After 90 minutes of instruction and hands-on practice, attendees reported an average 73% increase in confidence in their ability to defend themselves, stated the release.
"Confidence matters," said Jarod Osborne, founder of Peace Force. "Our goal isn't to teach people a hundred complicated martial arts techniques — it's to help them recognize danger early, avoid becoming an easy target, and know what to do if the worst happens. I love seeing the visible confidence boost that our clients experience after a seminar!"
For real estate professionals, who frequently meet unfamiliar clients and enter vacant properties, personal safety is an important topic. By providing this training, Expo Realty's Cavender Team demonstrated its commitment to investing not only in the professional development of its agents but also in their personal well-being, according to the release.
Peace Force specializes in practical self-defense training for professional organizations and community groups.
