Absentee Voting Starts Tuesday

Absentee and early voting begins Tuesday and will end at noon, May 7, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office, 121 N Lake St.

 Voting hours are 8-11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early voting will also be available on on Saturdays on April 28 and May 5, from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.

All early voting can be done in the Kosciusko County Clerk's office, located on the first floor of the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake Street, Warsaw.

If a voter wishes to vote by mail, they should call 574-372-2337 or 574-372-2332 to request an application for an absentee ballot.

Fallen Rider Event April 14

SYRACUSE – The second annual “Fallen Rider Memorial Ride” will be held at noon April 14 at Wawasee High School, 1 Warrior Way, Syracuse. Registration opens at 10 a.m.

The cost is $25 for an individual or $30 for a couple, with proceeds going to high school driver education programs. The 80-mile ride will promote safety in remembrance of fallen riders everywhere. The ride is in memory of Eric “Doc” Mounsey, who was killed in a traffic accident.

Following the ride there will be music, food and drinks at the American Legion Post 253, 756 S. Main St., North Webster.
