I just finished reading another article about the weak real estate market and could not resist trying to set the record straight.
In Kosciusko County, our real estate market is performing quite well. With more homes on the market than last year, homebuyers have a better selection to choose from. Interest rates are very pleasing at this time as well. Home prices are actually stable and quite affordable, unlike many other areas of the country.
I worry that national news stories will scare away potential homebuyers in one of the best buyers market we have seen in our area. Buyers have the opportunity to make a terrific investment and sellers are willing to help with creative packages. Ask a local Realtor to show you the great housing values in our area. You may find exactly what you're looking for and at the right price, too.
