Linda R. PraterLinda R. Prater, 73, of Winona Lake, passed away at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.
She was born on May 13, 1948, in Adrian, Mich., to Oliver and Roxie Holbrook Prater.
She grew up in Michigan, graduated from Adrian High School and attended beauty school in Michigan. She moved to the Warsaw/Winona Lake area in the 1970s and retired from RR Donnelley after 30-plus years.
She was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Pierceton where she formerly served as church treasurer.
She is survived by son, Adam (Misty) Prater, of Claypool; three grandchildren; sister, Rebecca (Jim) Hubbard, of Frankfort, Ky.; and brother, Jesse (Stephanie) Butler, of Canton, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation will take place at the Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 at the Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh St., Pierceton, with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating.
