Linda L. Zellers, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 12:40 p.m. April 15, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born May 27, 1940, in Logansport, to John H. and Helen K. Lowe Watts. On Sept. 16, 1959, in Logansport, she married Vaughn D. Zellers Sr., who survives in Warsaw.
She moved to the Warsaw area from Logansport in 1970. She enjoyed caring for children for many years. She also enjoyed gardening and going to garage sales, and she was a fantastic cook. She was also a member of First Brethren Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie (and spouse Dale) Hileman, Akron, and Becky Zellers-Keefer, Warsaw; four sons: Tim (and spouse Donna) Zellers, Elkhart; Brian (and spouse Kim) Zellers, Warsaw; Vaughn Dean “Charlie” (and spouse Megan) Zellers Jr., Marietta, Ga.; and Donny Zellers, Leesburg; five brothers: Paul Watts, Logansport; Bill Watts, Coleen, Texas; Johnny Watts, Barstow, Texas; Fred Watts, Monticello; and Terry Watts, Warsaw; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, June Ann Zellers; her parents; and her sister, Iva Jean Hellyer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Howard Immel officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.
