Linda Elliott, age 76, of Warsaw, passed away on Aug. 25, 2026, at Peabody Nursing Home in North Manchester.
She was born on Oct. 15, 1949, to Rouff and Bertha Bell Albertson. She married John Bud Elliott on July 22, 1972. They shared 41 years together before his passing. They spent their years together on a small farm raising horses, goats and dogs and camping at Francis Slocum in Peru. Linda was a member of Harvest Community Church in Pierceton.
Always striving to improve herself and sharpen her mind, Linda previously worked at Serenade Foods, Country Fiberglass, Worth Tax Service and Martin Financial Management. She also ran the Entry Booth for the horse shows at Circle E Arena.
Linda had a love for horses and especially enjoyed watching rodeos. Family was at the heart of her life, and she treasured the time she spent with those she loved. She also enjoyed keeping her mind sharp by working on crossword puzzles. Her attention to detail, ability to stir up a little mischief, and devotion to her family were all part of what made Linda so special to those who knew her.
Those left to remember Linda include daughters, Misty (Joe) Rucker, of Pierceton; and Mindy (Andy) Martin, of Bluffton; and granddaughter, Jalynn Rucker, of Pierceton. Linda also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and a large church family. She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Roger; and sisters: Wilma Hicks, Velma Spears, Mary Watson and Barb Kreis.
Linda’s Life Celebration visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Harvest Community Church in Pierceton. Her funeral service will begin at noon with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton, where Linda will be laid to rest. Arrangements have been entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw.
