MENTONE – Lillian Ruth Meredith, 93, of Plymouth and formerly of Warsaw, passed at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at Pilgrim Manor of Plymouth.

Lillian was born on Sept. 30, 1927, in Kosciusko County, to the late Clyde and Elsie Douglas Nettrouer. Lillian was a 1945 graduate of Mentone High School. She had been a homemaker and for many years, a babysitter.

She was a member of the Etna Green United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and directed the choir. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Lillian always enjoyed making candy and baking.

She is survived by sons: Dennis and wife Shirley Meredith, of Uniondale; Terry and wife Carolyn Meredith, of Plymouth; David and wife Brenda Meredith, of Akron; Jim and wife Debbie Meredith, of Warsaw; Frank and wife Becky Meredith, of Silver Lake; Gary and wife Nancy Meredith, of Danville; and Wymond Meredith, of St. Charles, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Beulah Anderson, Shirley Church and Frances Besson; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Lillian will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. The interment will take place following the service in Harrison Center Wooden Cemetery, Etna Green. Visitation hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1 at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Masks will be required for all who are in attendance.
