AKRON – Lillian “EG” Cline, 66, of rural Akron, Ind., passed away at 5:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Hurley, Va., to Roscoe and Mary Lester Lester. On June 12, 1971, she married Connie L. Cline in Grundy, Va., and he survives.
She had worked for Warsaw High School as a custodian as well as being a homemaker. She always enjoyed shopping and tending to her flowerbeds. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Connie Cline, of Akron; daughter, Misty and husband Bradley Chaffins, of Akron; sons, Lanny and wife Kim Cline, of Rochester, Ind., and Gary and wife Kodi Cline, of Akron; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Florence Whitt, of Hurley, Va.; Linda and husband Lanny Gillman, of Akron; Donna and husband Bill Gillman, of Mentone, Ind.; and Rita and husband Walter Charles, of Etna Green, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny Ray Lester; sisters, Sherry Jackson, Pamela “Bubbles” Lester and Sharon Lester; and her twin sister, Lois Lester.
Services are 1 p.m. Aug. 21 at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 125 Fawley St., Warsaw, Ind., with Pastor Luther Bailey officiating. Burial will take place in Nichols Cemetery, Akron. Visitation will take place starting at 4 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church.
