A preliminary investigation by Noble County deputy Evan Miller indicates that at about 6:20 p.m. Monday, a gray 2007 Saturn Vue, driven by Ethan Kiser, was traveling west on CR 200N, east of CR 1000W near Cromwell, when his vehicle spun sideways in the road. It went left of center and into the path of a silver 2004 GMC Yukon driven by 76-year-old James Borden, Fort Wayne.
Kiser’s Vue was hit on the front passenger side at a right angle, head-on by the Yukon, which received heavy front-end damage.
Borden was taken to Parkview Whitley for minor injuries and complaint of pain.
Assisting Miller with the crash were the Ligonier Police Department, Avilla Police Department, Indiana State Police, Cromwell Fire, Ligonier Fire and Parkview Noble EMS.
