Life With Dogs

Have you ever thought of getting a dog? My family has two golden doodles named Gracie and Max, and we love them to death. There are many reasons why you should get a dog. Even though they are naughty at times, we still love them. The next time you are looking for a new pet, I strongly encourage you to get a dog.
First, a dog could be your best friend. I know that many people will judge you on your looks, smartness and athletic ability, but a dog will never ever judge you. If you have a dog, there will always be someone to entertain you or play with. Whenever I’m bored, I know I have my dogs to play with. Dogs are creatures that can cheer you up very quickly. My dogs make noises, weird faces and do many other things that crack me up. Dogs will be your best friend.
Second, a dog gives you a lot of exercise. My family has two dogs and I have to give them a walk every day. Their walk gives both them and me exercise. If my dogs don’t have exercise, they will be too hyper, so I play with them in the yard. My dogs don’t like swimming much, but many other dogs will jump right in.  It’s fun swimming with dogs, and it gives you exercise also.  There are many ways to stay active with dogs.
Finally, dogs teach great responsibility. Feeding them is essential because without food they will die. I know from experience that pets must be kept clean. My dogs get dirty a lot, and I have to groom them. I enjoy grooming my dogs. Another responsibility is teaching good behavior. My whole family worked together on potty-training, no jumping, and no barking with our dogs. Our dogs are great! Having a dog teaches you to be responsible.
If you’re thinking of getting a pet, I definitely encourage you to consider a dog. My dogs have been a great joy in my life. Will you get a dog? Woof, woof!
