Lewie Arnold OverlanderAKRON – Lewie Arnold Overlander, 81, Akron, died at 11:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on April 4, 1938, in rural Miami County, to Edward and Catherine Kamp Overlander.
Lewie married Joan Williams on April 3, 1967, and she died on June 22, 1987. He then married Kathie Ann Swain on Nov. 5, 1993, in Paintsville, Ky.; she survives.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Earl-Love Funeral Home, Akron.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Phil Pratt. Burial will be at the Akron IOOF Cemetery, Akron.
