Editor, Times-Union: I was truly saddened to hear Roy and Jean Bradbury speak of their loss of having Christmas decorations stolen from their yard.
It is very sad when people use Christmas - a time of joy and sharing, to steal anything.
My heart goes out to the feelings of hurt they feel over someone having the nerve to "drive by a property" and steal something beautiful that represents hard work and sentimental value.
Unless they have a license plate number of the vehicle in question, they would not have any idea if the thieves (and that is what they were) were from Warsaw?
It could be someone passing through or are from other parts of the county or elsewhere.
Not only have they "robbed" something of value, but much of the "joy of Christmas" from these dear people who have sought to display something worthwhile and festive during this holiday season.
Let us hope that someone from Warsaw did not do the dishonorable thing of stealing decorations at a time when the majority of people are wishing, "peace, goodwill toward men."
We may not know who stole the decorations, but God knows. He is not amused by stealing and those who steal will be remembered for what they have done!
