Editor, Times-Union: The Warsaw Morning Optimist Club would like to thank all the people who purchased one of our beautiful, fresh and fragrant Christmas trees this year. The project was successful because of your generous support. We will use all of the proceeds to fund local youth activities and projects this next year.

Editor, Times-Union: This is a thank-you to the two gentlemen who introduced themselves as being from Warsaw. They did not give their names so I am hoping they read the local newspaper and will see this.
My 8-year-old and his grandmother were at the Toys R Us store in Ft. Wayne on Sunday, Dec. 22, and were approached by two gentlemen who stated that they would like to buy a Christmas gift for my son. They went on to say that every year they like to come to the store and buy a gift for a child. I was not there and I just wanted a chance to say "thank you."
They purchased something for my son that he had wanted for a long time but, being a single mother, I could not afford to buy him. My son was so happy and has not stopped talking about it. He can't believe "strangers" would do something so nice for him. These gentlemen have no idea what a gift they bestowed upon myself and my son. It's not just about the material gift, it's about the miracle and joy of Christmas.
Whoever, you are, I want you to know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you and your families.
