Editor, Times-Union: We would like to express our gratitude to the family that cared about our Christmas decorations being broken by vandals. I finally have dry enough eyes to properly thank you. It was so nice to explain to the little ones that there are good people in this world. Explaining the spirit of Christmas was easy because I used you for my example. Many people talk about unselfish giving at Christmas time, but it has really touched our hearts to be on the recieving end. From our family to your family, may you be blessed as much as us this Christmas.
Thank-you again for the decorations.

Impressed By Kindness
Editor, Times-Union: Last night, Dec. 17, I attended the Christmas party held at Miller's Merry Manor where my aunt is a resident. A year ago in November it became necessary for her to give up her home to live permanently there. Fortunately, this has been a happy transition for her. Last night as I watched the staff do their best to bring happiness to the residents, I was once again impressed with their kindness. I want to publicly thank the staff at Miller's Merry Manor for their lovely party and for the consideration they show to my aunt and the other residents.

Remembering Friends
Editor, Times-Union: Struggles of life have come upon others, and on me
The only thing left is the cherished memories
Keep ya spirit living for an infinity
Your special day will live in infamy
Forever and beyond it's kept in my brain
I was only inches away from going insane
But no more, gots to get this off my chest
Learn from life lessons, gotta do what's best
You looked like an angel, suddenly at peace
Situation's mangled, God I'm beggin' you please
Don't take my friends, part of my crew
If you must take them, go ahead and take me too
Circumstances are tragic, real life like a movie
I wish for some magic, God has totally confused me
I'm steady set trippin'... I began to start slippin'
I reach to get grippin'... on this life that's been rippin'
AWAY ... Too much to say, not enough words to express
All the feelings I felt, looked for hope in everyone else
But everytime I'm rollin' ... I know you sittin' shot-GON
And when I get up and start going ... I'll see you again, Ron
It's too sad to say good-bye ... it's hard to watch ya leave
But when I'm sent to the sky .. .I'll see you again, Andy
I know when situations are tough, I got many to depend on
But Andy and Ron ... you'll be remembered ... forever and beyond.
