Editor, Times-Union: Those of us use 200N every day are sorry to see needed repairs on the road held up by bickering over who is responsible for its repair. The solution appears obvious that the Kosciusko County Highway Department is the mandated county agency responsible for the repair and maintenance of the roads. That responsibility should not be abdicated while legal action is pursued. If NiBlock has agreed that it damaged the road then the highway department should fulfill its responsibility to repair the road and then pass the bill on to NiBlock. Why should poor roads be left for accidents to happen while we all wait for legal maneuvers? This road is deteriorating every day. Any rain quickly spoils spot repairs.
Question: does not Wal-Mart bear part of the responsibility since it used NiBlock as a subcontractor for its work?

Bible Translation
Editor, Times-Union: Some Christians insist that the only Bible translation to use is the King James Version 1611. Other translations, even updated versions of the KJV are rejected. But I have yet to meet anyone who uses the KJV 1611. If you don't believe me, turn in your KJV to the "Gospel of S. Iohn III 16 (the spelling is correct). If your Bible doesn't read, "For God so loued y world, that he gaue his only begotten Sonne; that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish but haue euerlasting life," then you are not reading the KJV 1611. Most KJVs are the revised 1769 edition. Jesus is Lord!

Corporate Circus
Corporate Circus (a musical act) would just like to take the time to say thank you to a couple of organizations that have helped out the local music scene.
Karma Records in Warsaw (owned by Scott and Melissa Silveus) has been helping us out tremendously for the last couple of years by selling our CDs and other merchandise. Karma has also put together local concerts and invited us to play. For any show that we play locally, Karma has always been willing to advertise for us and donate merchandise from the store to give away at the show. They have been a huge supporter not only of Corporate Circus, but of the local music scene in general. So thank you to the best record store in northern Indiana, Karma Records in Warsaw.
Next, Corporate Circus would like to thank WRSW for all of their local support. Every concert that has been held in town, WRSW has been more than willing to make a public announcement for it or hold an interview with us to promote it. WRSW is currently playing songs from our debut album, "Help Wanted," and our upcoming release, "There's No Place Like Home." WRSW also gave away copies of our album, "Help Wanted," throughout the week to promote our show at The Pike Lake Fireman's Building on Aug. 24.
An extra special thank you to DJs Charlie, Blake, Dan and Josh. Thank you for making WRSW a better radio station and THANK YOU for giving us a chance.
Thanks again Karma Records and WRSW for your support of Corporate Circus and the local music scene.

Sewer Rates
Editor, Times-Union: I read the article on the proposed rates for the second treatment plant to be built, and was astonished at the increase. When growth is the key reason for utility capacity increase including such infrastructure items such as roads, schools, fire stations etc., some municipalities use an impact fee on new construction. This alleviates the unfair cost to those who did not cause the reason for the increased capacity of the infrastructure. Some include the auto license impact fee, reasoning that more and better roads are necessary with more vehicular traffic. Does it seem fair to established residents that they should pay more for the same service when through no action on their part, or no increased benefit, their utility bill should cost more?

Corpus Christi
Editor, Times-Union: I was going to write a letter on "Corpus Christi," but David Slone did it for me.
Thank you for a job well done. For once, the hate mongers, right-wing religious and the narrow-minded politicians could not stop this play thanks to IPFW.
A special thanks to Mr. Gilbert, cast and to all the people that work hard to make it a success.
My only regret is I could not get tickets.
David, you were right. It is a shame so few could see it.
