Editor, Times-Union: For those who missed the all-city band festival by our Warsaw Community School Band Department, you did miss a great opportunity to hear what our students can do. The ones who did come to support sons and daughters, or just a casual supporter, we were blessed with great performances. Everyone did a fine job.
Congratulations to the students and their abilities. Thanks to Mr. Becker, Ms. Person, Mr. Ratliff and Mr. Newman. Our band members work hard and are dedicated. Their playing proves that they need our encouragement and support. Thanks again for a great evening.
Those who are thinking about being a band member, I would encourage you to investigate it and give it a shot. If you are already in the band and are thinking about giving it up, please reconsider. Music is wonderful!
