Editor, Times-Union: Gary, my comments on News Views April 2 & 3.
The Libertarian Party has been around for over 30 years and I am sure most of us share your frustration with big government. If we are going to change things peacefully, we need to face facts. No. 1 is, the size of government will never decrease as long as voters keep electing Democrats and Republicans. Can anyone deny this? Another thing, we have to stop legislators from passing unconstitutional laws no matter how much we like a particular law. It doesn't take a Supreme Court justice to determine if a law is unconstitutional. Any legislator who tries to enact unconstitutional laws after having sworn to uphold the Constitution should be thrown out of office. The Libertarian Party is trying to do peacefully what this nation's founders were unable to do without the use of force. Can we do it? We all better hope so.

Teens For Life
Editor, Times-Union: We would like to inform Kosciusko County teens of an opportunity to promote life through involvement in the Kosciusko County Right to Life "Teens for Life" group. This group will be meeting once a month with the purpose of making teens aware of the negative consequences of abortion and also to make them aware of how to present that information to their peers. Not only does abortion end the life of a baby, but it also physically and emotionally scars the mother.
Any and all teens are welcome to come to the meetings, which will be held the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Warsaw Community Public Library. The next meeting is scheduled for April 19. Free pizza and pop will be provided. For more information, call the Kosciusko County Right to Life office at 574-267-3481. Thank you, and hope to see you there!
