Editor, Times-Union: In the March 2 Times-Union Sandy Mundy insinuates that there is a serious problem in the Warsaw School system with teachers behaving inappropriately. And that the solution to this problem is for parents to home school their children. I would like to respond that in the past nine years, teachers in the Warsaw Community Schools system have completely exceeded my expectations in the excellent education that they have given/are giving my children. They have gone the extra mile to encourage a child that was falling behind, and they have kept the challenge fresh for a child who is ahead of the game. The administrators in the schools we have been involved with demand and exemplify high standards of behavior from students and faculty. I feel very blessed to live in a community where my children can receive an excellent, well-rounded education in the public school system.

Editor, Times-Union: On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Kosciusko Literacy Volunteers, we would like to thank you for your involvement with the Banquet of Hope. We appreciate your willingness to promote this event with articles in the Times-Union. Thanks to you, members of our community are now more aware of the services we offer to non-reading adults in Kosciusko County. Together we can build a stronger community, one reader at a time.
