Leroy ‘Buck’ HenwoodSYRACUSE – Leroy "Buck" Henwood, 79, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Syracuse to Franklin and Norma Irwin Henwood. On Jan. 17, 1964, he married Judy Ray, who preceded him in 2011. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Buck owned and operated Crystalbrook Enterprises Gun Shop for many years. Buck is survived by his three daughters, Karri Henwood, of Syracuse; Kathy Henwood, of Syracuse; and Bobbi Henwood, of North Webster; one son, Stephen Henwood, of Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Noreta Mort, of New Harmony; and Anna (Richard) Clay, of Warsaw. Along with his wife Judy, he was also preceded by one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. at the Leesburg Cemetery with military honors.
