MILFORD – Leola Plank, 92, Milford, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 25, 2016, at the IU Goshen Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Middlebury, to Edwin and Lydia Egli Miller. On Jan. 31, 1942, she married John Plank, who preceded her in death. They were married 62 years. She was a Milford resident for over 30 years, and prior to that she spent 32 years in Leesburg and six years in Silver Lake. She also wintered in Florida for over 25 years. She was a longtime member of the New Salem Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Olsen, Warsaw, and Karen (and spouse Tom) White, Syracuse; a son, Jay Plank, Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She will be welcomed into everlasting by a daughter, Debra Hobbs; a grandson, Robert Anthony Hobbs; nine brothers and four sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Milford, with Pastor Robert Rice officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
