SYRACUSE – Lena Belle Murphy, 93, of Angola, and formerly of North Webster, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at Northern Lakes Nursing Home in Angola.
She was born on Nov. 18, 1926, in Cromwell, to Alfred and Ethel Mae Black Kuhn. On Jan. 20, 1946, she married Robert Murphy, who preceded her in 1968.
She was a lifelong area resident until 2006, when she moved to Angola. She was a longtime member of the North Webster Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Bitsie) Murphy, of Fremont; daughter, Betty Sue Stahl, of North Webster; stepdaughter, Barbara (Gene) Enslen, of Wolf Lake; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the North Webster cemetery.
