Editor, Times-Union: On Friday June 26, 2015, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled same-sex marriage was a legal right in all 50 states, many people involved in such illicit relationships were shown laughing, hugging and partying at different spots cross America. I can tell you who else was laughing, but it was not “with” those men and women engaging in same-sex relationships ... rather, these beings were laughing “at” all of these people, and laughing at the foolishness and idiocy of this nation’s highest court: Satan and all of the demon spirits under his command. It has been stated many times by Christian ministers and Bible scholars that every civilization in world history that accepted homosexual behavior as “normal” and allowed such lifestyle choices within their societies these civilizations eventually self-destructed and died out. America has embraced one slippery slope after another for more than 50-plus years, and I fully believe that this is the straw which will cause God to allow America to fall for good, and meet its demise and judgement. This ruling by the nation’s highest court is one of many rulings which prove that we have evil men, and women, in high places who put burdens on their fellow human beings which are grievous and too heavy to bear. America has long given itself over to perversion, as well as the worship of false gods and practices which the one true and holy God despises. In Luke 13, text 3, part b, it reads, “but except you repent, you shall all likewise perish.” Two separate ministers here in south central Pennsylvania were both stripped of their pastoral credentials for daring to perform homosexual marriage ceremonies, one of them is a 97-year-old Mennonite church minister who performed a wedding for his homosexual son. The other minister was given his credentials back, after moving to California. However, just because society or the courts say that something is legal does not make it right.
