Getting sewer bills now is like making payments on a car for a year and not getting the car for a year. And you were informed correctly about the three homes with sewer problems that lead us to the sewer problem now.
Town board members should be elected, not appointed. With a husband and wife in position opens the door for nepotism or friends being hired. When the town maintenance position becomes open, it should be done by application and the salary should be approximately $26,000 to start, with overtime for heavy snow removal and leaves collected in the fall.
Once again, this is not South Bend or Fort Wayne. Just a small town with far too many problems that aren't getting resolved.
