Learn About Preventing, Detecting & Treating Stroke At Education EventStroke is a leading cause of death in the U.S. and a major cause of serious disability for adults, but it is often preventable and treatable.
Join Dr. Kevin McGeehan at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital’s Administrative Classroom, 2102 E. Dubois Dr., at 8:30 a.m. May 18 to learn more about prevention, symptoms and treatment of stroke.
McGeehan is a board-certified neurologist and medical director of the Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital stroke program. He cares for neurology patients with disorders of the nerves and nervous system, including the brain and spine.
A question-and-answer session will follow his presentation. Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital is a certified primary stroke center, utilizing national standards to address stroke patients’ needs from ER arrival through hospital discharge.
