Laurette Elizabeth RitzLaurette Elizabeth Conover Ritz, 97, Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Grace Village Health Care.
She was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Whig Lane, Salem County, N.J., to Pauline Thompson Conover and Francis Clark Conover.
She was married to Joseph Daniel Ritz on April 24, 1945; he died March 4, 1988.
Laurette’s life will be celebrated with a service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Aaron Klein. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Elmer, N.J.
Memorial donations may be directed to Grace College, 1 Lancer Way, Winona Lake, IN 46590 to be directed to the Arthur W. Davis Memorial Art Scholarship Fund and would be appreciated by her family.
