NAPPANEE – Laura Ann Everly-Tener Adams, 46, of 501 E. Indiana Avenue, Nappanee, died at 6 p.m. June 21, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Ill.
She was born June 5, 1966, in Elkhart, to Ken and Sue Everly Tener. On Oct. 26, 2007, in Elkhart, she married Harry Adams, who survives.
She was a lifetime resident of Nappanee. She graduated from NorthWood High School in 1984 and was a graduate of Elkhart Beauty College. She was a homemaker and caregiver and was a member of First Brethren Church.
Also surviving are her parents; a son, Robert Kenneth Kinney, Goshen; two stepsons, Harry Adams Jr., Louisiana, and Ryan Heeter, Alaska; and a brother, Chad (and spouse Grace) Tener, Leesburg.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at First Brethren Church with the Rev. Tom Schiefer and the Rev. Bart Shaw officiating. Cremation will follow.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. The family encourages friends and family to wear pink clothing in honor of Laura. ***** Memorials to Elkhart County Humane Society.
