LaunchPad, the childcare and early learning coalition in Kosciusko County, announced the upcoming Business Summit on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Designed for local employers and leaders, the Summit will provide actionable strategies, policy insights and networking opportunities to strengthen workforce participation, according to a provided news release. Employers can learn about employer-supported childcare models improve retention and productivity. They will also gain insight into tax credits and a local regional opportunity to reduce childcare costs.
LaunchPad Director Sherry Searles said, “We encourage employers with all different sizes of workforce to come out. From the small office, retail or restaurant to large manufacturers, we want to show how employers can gain the knowledge, connections and tools to turn childcare into a workforce and retention advantage.”
