Lacy Francis Sr.MARION – Lacy Francis, Sr., 84, of Montana, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was born in Paintsville, Ky., on October 19, 1934, and to Hershel and Edna Francis.
Lacy married his loving wife, Barbara Jean May, on Jan. 30, 1954, and they had three sons, Lacy Francis Jr., William David Francis and Randy Leon Francis, all from Warsaw. They later had a daughter, Jody Francis, from Warsaw, and another son, Randy, who lives in Nebraska.
He is survived by sons, Lacy (Millie) Francis, Jr. and William David (Linda) Francis; daughter, Jody (Calvin) Ousley; sisters, Nellie (Bill) Wildman, Deland, Fla., and Jewel (Lester) Hall, Billings, Mont.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean; son, Randy Francis; parents, Hershel and Edna Francis; two brothers; and four sisters.
On Tuesday, June 18, at 2 p.m., the family will gather to celebrate Lacy’s life at Warsaw Family Worship Center, Warsaw. Pastor Lester S. Hall and Pastor William Whitaker will be officiating followed by burial at Palestine Cemetery.
