NORTH MANCHESTER – L. Louise Sroufe, 87, of North Manchester, died at 8:50 a.m. Aug. 4, 2012, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born May 30, 1925, in North Manchester, to Melvin R. and Trevah P. Farley Snell. On Sept. 24, 1944, she married George R. Sroufe, who died March 2, 1991.
She was a homemaker and a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (and spouse Bob) Jester, North Manchester; two brothers, DeWayne (and spouse Doris) Snell, North Manchester, and Robert (and spouse Sheila) Snell, Indianapolis; a sister, Joann (and spouse Russell) Hoover, North Manchester; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Borgmann officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
