Kosciusko County Tourism Generated $95.8M In Economic Impact In 2024

Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCCVB) released the 2024 Tourism Economic Impact Report, conducted through Rockport Analytics in partnership with Indiana Destination Development Corporation (Visit Indiana).
In 2024, Kosciusko County welcomed 2.1 million visitors, who spent $187.2 million, generating a total impact of $95.8 million for the county, according to a news release from KCCVB. Tourism also produced $20 million in state and local tax revenue, supporting essential public services and community investments.
Visitor data shows that 60% of travelers came from Indiana, followed by Illinois (9.1%) and Ohio (8.3%). Tourism supported 2,145 local jobs and generated $54.3 million in wages, reinforcing the industry’s vital role in the local economy, the release states.
“This tourism economic impact report highlights just how important tourism is to our area,” said Cori Humes, executive director of KCCVB. “More than two million visitors come through our county each year, bringing millions of dollars and supporting thousands of jobs. Continuing to cultivate a strong tourism economy is vital for our community’s future.”
