WINONA LAKE – Kosciusko County Master Gardener Association invites the community to their next Munch and Learn Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Robin Hood Community Center, 1436 Camelot Drive, Winona Lake.
This is a free event to learn more about gardening topics, according to a news release from Purdue Extension.
Steve Koontz, Kosciusko County Master Gardener, will teach people about helping gardeners grow their own plants from seed. Participants will learn the basics of seed selection, timing, soil and container choices, lighting needs, watering practices and transplanting techniques. It is perfect for beginners and experienced gardeners alike looking to improve their seed-starting success, stated the release.
While the presentation begins at 7 p.m., everyone is invited to arrive at 6:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship. Bring a snack or refreshment to share with the group during this time.
