Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Kosciusko County Historical Society announced a special speaking event featuring local photographer Al Disbro on April 23 at 5:30 p.m.
Called "Storytime with Al," this event comes in response to the overwhelming interest in the Historical Society’s current exhibit featuring Disbro's photographs. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear directly from Disbro as he shares the stories behind the photographs that resonate with the community, according to a news release from the Historical Society.
“We’ve been thrilled by the response to Al's photography exhibit,” said Teresa Jones, director of the Kosciusko County Historical Society. “This event is a wonderful chance for our community to engage more deeply with the exhibit and hear firsthand from the artist who captured these meaningful moments.”
Disbro's photography exhibit, titled “We the People,” highlights the faces and stories of Kosciusko County through candid portraits and snapshots. His exhibit and this speaking engagement are part of the Historical Society's America 250 celebration.
The speaking event will take place at the Kosciusko County Historical Society, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
