Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers Having Chicken Fundraiser May 14

The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers are having a Nelson’s Port-A-Pit Chicken and Pit Potato fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. May 14 in the JB Furniture parking lot on Center Street in Warsaw.
Cost is $7.50 for half a chicken and $4 for pit potatoes. Tickets are available from any extension homemaker member, and only a limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the sale. Pre-sale ticket deadline is April 30.
Proceeds will be used to support organizational activities such as scholarships, open class fair exhibits and the Home and Family Arts Building at the fairgrounds. Committee members include Alice Keirn as chairman, Beverly Earnhart, Darla McCammon and Eleanor Watkins.
