Kosciusko County 4-H Royalty Crowned

Kosciusko County 4-H Royalty was crowned during the annual 4-H Royalty, Fashion Revue and Awards night Thursday at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center.
Leila Knepp was named the 2025 Kosciusko County 4-H queen.
Leila is a 10-year member of the Pierceton Hayseeds 4-H Club. Her favorite projects include beef, goats and foods.
She is a recent graduate of Warsaw Community High School and will be a freshman at Purdue University. Leila is enrolled in the College of Agriculture as an Animal Science major with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. Leila is the daughter of Andy and Shelly Knepp, according to provided information.
Isaac Irwin was named the 2025 Kosciusko County 4-H king.
Isaac is a 10-year 4-Her and a member of Sidney Triple S 4-H Club. His projects include dairy, blacksmithing, woodworking and rabbits.
Isaac is a recent graduate of Whitko Jr./Sr. High School and he plans to attend Purdue University this fall to study ag systems management. Isaac is the son of Travis and Tracy Irwin.
Jasmine Fuller was named the 2024 Kosciusko County 4-H princess.
Jasmine is the daughter of Chad and Tara Fuller. She is a nine-year 4-H member and a member of the Atwood Neverquitters and Mentone United 4-H clubs. Jasmine has held numerous leadership roles, including president, vice president and secretary. Her favorite 4-H projects are goats, dairy calf feed steer and consumer clothing.
Jasmine will be a senior this fall at Tippecanoe Valley High School. After graduation she plans to earn a master’s degree in accounting, obtain her CPA and play collegiate volleyball.
Hudson Shepherd was named the Kosciusko County 4-H prince.
Hudson is the son of Joel and Karla Shepherd. He is a nine-year 4-Her and a member of Leesburg Mighty Farmers. He held leadership roles as his club’s president and health and safety leader. His 4-H projects are beef, swine, woodworking, foods and consumer poultry.
Hudson will be a senior this fall at Tippecanoe Valley High School. After graduation, he plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University’s College of Agriculture.
Also, during Thursday’s event, several awards and scholarships were given out.
The Kosciusko County 4-H Council Scholarship program is to award 4-H members for outstanding achievement, service, leadership and citizenship in the 4-H program. The scholarship is awarded to members to help them further study at an accredited college, university, trade or technical school.
The Anglin-Bishop Award and Scholarship was created in memory of two junior leaders, Mike Bishop and Jeremiah Anglin, who died during their 4-H careers. It is meant to recognize a junior leader who exemplifies what it is meant to be a junior leader, 4-H member and for outstanding achievement, service, leadership and citizenship in the junior leader program, according to provided information.
The award winners were Eva Everest and Leila Knepp.
The Farm Bureau recognizes the top 2 members overall in achievement, leadership, and service throughout their 4-H career.
The award winners were Lyllian Johnson and Isaiah Richardson.
Other award/scholarship winners included Beth Lamb, wining the 2025 Friend of 4-H individual Award; Ferguson Farms, 2025 Friend of 4-H Business; Lyllian Johnson, Gene Milner Memorial Scholarship; Caleb Lechlitner, Eva Everest and Lucas Wilkinson, Kosciusko County Homemakers Scholarship; Lucas Wilkinson, Shayleen Crites Memorial Scholarship; Lucas Wilkinson, Knepp, Lyllian Johnson, Brooklyn Roose and Everest, 4-H Council Scholarships; Johnson and Kaleb Kline, 4-H Poultry Committee; Kline, 4-H Sheep Committee; and Irwin, Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship.
Before the 4-H Royalty was crowned, the 4-H seniors were recognized.
The final year members are seniors who joined the 4-H program, who are seniors, but did not complete 10 years of 4-H.
The seniors recognized were Gavin Hayes, Zoe Mart, Emma Gerber, Macey Sainer, Jasmine McKinley, Bruce Yoder, Lilyan Reimer, Kelton Bennett, Karson Krebs, Andrew Lee, Quentin Taylor, Kyle Williams, Wanda Meade, Marissa Bultemeier, Gracie Olinger and Kaytlin Skeans.
The 10-year 4-H members were also recognized. Marisa Alvarez, Max Andrew, Katelyn Brown, Colton Crabb, Evelyn Duncan, Eva Everest, Kaitlyn Fouts, Adeline Garr, Abbigayle Harris, Seth Helvey, Melanie Hertzler, Sienna Holder, Isaac Irwin, Lyllian Johnson, Kaleb Kline, Leila Knepp, Rachel Koorey, Jaiden Lozier, Brandt Martin, Emma Patrick, Caitlyn Ransbottom, Kendyll Ransbottom, Isaiah Richardson, Brooklyn Roose, Bryson Shepherd, Luke Tucker, Lucas Wilkinson, Isaiah Wilson and Jucinda Wilson.
Linda Stroup, who died Monday, was also remembered Thursday night, as she spent 53 years as a 4-H leader, according to her obituary.
