The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mud2Lotus Organizing on Wednesday.
The business, operated by Mallory Eaton, recently joined the Chamber but has been operating since November 2025.
Eaton is a traveling professional organizer based out of Kosciusko County. Her services include home and business organization, move and sale preparation, downsizing and senior living, and online organizing and consulting.
Prior to starting Mud2Lotus, Eaton worked at Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation as a special education teacher for close to two decades.
"Organization was something that I had been working with kids on, just teaching those skills," said Eaton. "Another thing I'm very open about is I'm adult-diagnosed ADHD, which you'd think I wouldn't be good at this, but actually my whole life I had to be incredibly over-organized to function."
Over the last eight years, Eaton provided organizational skills to family and friends on the side.
"I just felt called to more lean into it," said Eaton. "I somehow, through fate and God, met my mentor, and we started chatting and I realized 'I can do this.' It's helping people in a different way. I do businesses and homes. If it can be organized, I do it. I love it. It's so flexible and every day is different, it's like real-life Tetris. I get to figure out puzzles, how everything fits. There's nothing better than when a client's mental load comes off and just to give them peace."
Eaton also said she provides continual support to clients and shares tips and tricks on her social media platforms, as well as on her podcast, "Organized Enough." Her five-step process includes a complimentary consultation, followed by an in-home assessment, custom project planning, transformation and maintenance.
For her services, Eaton travels within a two-hour radius and has a small team of about four to five people. Currently, Eaton is booked through May, every single day.
"I am growing exponentially," said Eaton. "If it continues at this rate, I am looking to expand. I feel so fulfilled. It's been so fun. I know other people are like 'You like to do this for fun?' I do, because I show up and (clients) are stressed, it's crazy; and when I leave, it's that dopamine hit."
