KLA Donates From Northenor Fund To Ice Rink Pavilion Kosciusko Leadership Academy white paper teams “Ice Ice Baby,” “Ice Ice Baby 2” and “Ice Ice Baby 3” submitted white paper projects in 2008, 2016 and 2019, respectively, and helped make a contribution to Kosciusko County getting an ice skating rink.
For 2020-21, KLA suspended programming due to the pandemic, but the endowed Jean Northenor Award fund still generated proceeds that needed to be distributed so the board voted to direct those funds to the ice rink project. Additionally, the most recent team agreed to pass along their winning award to the cause, resulting in a combined gift of $2,000.
KLA will conduct classes during the upcoming 2021-22 academy year, according to a news release from KLA.
