Kimberly Irene Evans Yarger Ihrie, 53, of Phenix City, Ala., went home to be with the Lord at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 12, 2009, in Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

She was born June 22, 1956, in Warsaw, to Norman Evans and Sharon Geyer Hyde. In 1999, in Pierceton, she married Thomas Ihrie, who survives.

She lived in Warsaw until moving to Phenix City 10 years ago. She was a bank teller at CBNT Bank, Columbus, Ga. She was a member of Summerville United Methodist Church, Phenix City. She worked with the American Cancer Society, helping with fundraising events.

Also surviving are a daughter, Wendy (and spouse Kambo Mwangi) Yarger, South Bend; two sons, William (and spouse Shannon) Yarger, Warsaw, and Richard (and spouse Hollie) Yarger, Wingate; her mother and stepfather, Sharon and Bruce Hyde, Warsaw; two sisters, Jackie Evans, Silver Lake, and Tracy Parker, Warsaw; a brother, David Evans, Warsaw; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Andy Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
