BOURBON – Kimberley Sherry Gann, 43, Etna Green, passed away at noon Oct. 15, 2013, at her residence with her family by her side. She had courageously fought a long battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 7, 1969, in South Bend, to Thomas D. and Violet Glassburn McKenna. On June 21, 2008, she married Shane Gann, who survives.
She had worked at the Bourbon truck stop as a waitress for several years, and most recently worked at Martin’s Supermarket in Nappanee as a cashier. She had been a resident of Etna Green since September 2001. She loved to collect angels and cows, and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Also surviving are her mother, Violet, Culver; her father, Thomas, Ullin, Ill.; three daughters: Autumn McKenna, Plymouth; Tiffany Gann and Anna Gann, both at home; a son, Nathan Calhoun, Osceola; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and David Pedzinski, Elkhart; three sisters: Tami McKenna, South Bend; Jeani Ethridge, Dongola, Ill.; Debbie (and spouse Brian) Hale, Mishawaka; and her brother, Paul McKenna, Culver. She was blessed with three grandchildren: Wynter, Braxton and Devin. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas and James.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, 201 N. Bourbon St., with Pastor Mark Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
