Kerlin Collects CoatsMore than 900 coats are shown piled up in the showroom at Kerlin Motor Co. in Silver Lake following Kerlin's annual coat drive. The coat drive started Sept. 23 and concluded Oct. 19. The finale was held at the Center Lake Pavilion during the Cooks Who Care event. The coats will be donated to Combined Community Services, a local nonprofit organization that serves low-income residents. Peerless Cleaners and Wildman Uniform will provide the dry cleaning and laundering of the coats.
