NORTH MANCHESTER - Keith D. Cook, 71, of North Manchester, died at 2:41 p.m. July 28, 2008, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Wells County, to Chester J. and Mabel Hinkle Cook. On Aug. 31, 1963, he married Patsy J. Michael, who died June 21, 2002.
A lifetime farmer, he also worked at Manchester Foundry and Majestic Co., Huntington, retiring in 1999, after 35 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Steel Workers Union, and was a 1955 Chester High School graduate.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Hendershott, Bristol; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
