KC Recycling Announces Next Tire Days Event For Kosciusko County Residents

Posted

The Kosciusko County Solid Waste Management District, also known as the KC Recycling Depot, will host its next Tire Days event Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17 at 220 S. Union St., Warsaw.
During Tire Days, Kosciusko County residents may bring up to six passenger-size tires per day, per address, at no cost while trailer space is available. Tires must be clean and dry, and the event will end early if the tire trailer fills before the scheduled end of the week.
Residents should bring proof of Kosciusko County residency, such as a valid identification card or other official documentation showing a Kosciusko County address. Tire Days are open to residents only and are not available for business disposal.
Accepted tires should be passenger-size or smaller. Tires may be left on the rim, but oversized tractor, semi or commercial tires will not be accepted.
“Tire Days give Kosciusko County residents a convenient way to responsibly dispose of unwanted tires and help keep our community clean,” said Director Tom Ganser. “We encourage residents to prepare early, make sure their tires are clean and dry, and bring proof of county residency when they visit.”
