NORTH MANCHESTER - Karen Sue Chandler, 64, of South Bend, and formerly of North Manchester, died at 6:45 a.m. Oct. 9, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
She was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Fulton County, to Donald S. and Deloris J. Whittenberger Young. She married Tom Kline, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and attended Manchester High School.
Surviving are a son, David Kline, North Manchester; four brothers: Larry Young, Winston, Fla.; Allen Young, Disko; and Dennis and Randy Young, both of North Manchester; and two sisters, Marcia (and spouse Jim) Kline, Silver Lake, and Martha (and spouse Gene) Shepherd, Claypool.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Gilead Cemetery.
