Justice Not Served

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:
I agree with Mr. Jim Boardman there is not justice. Mr. Boardman writes about his son’s assault, where people watch it take place and no one called the police, and no one has been arrested.

It is awful others stood and watched instead of calling the police. Based on the incidents I am including there is and was no justice, an arrest probably will not happen. I am listing incidents I feel had no justice.

1.) My mom lost her life in an automobile accident July 29, 2008, in Whitley County. The passenger in mom’s car was also the witness, and my mom’s friend, or suppose to be. I was in a restaurant and heard this lady state all I got was x amount of dollars from the lawsuit, and complaining on and on. Really, my mom is dead and the passenger in her car is upset with the amount of money she received from lawsuit and she is alive, not dead. No justice!

2.) A good probation officer no longer has the probation officer job because a family blames him for a child’s death. It is a family’s responsibility to take care of children in their family no matter what. Not accuse good people for your family’s short comings. Again, no justice!

3.) When you call a business nowadays you are ask to select English or Spanish. Really, my dear friend came here from Germany legally. She has her citizenship and speaks English. However, she doesn’t get the choice to select German, but she entered the great USA legally. It appears to me as while my follow Americans are sitting on our butts playing on computers, cell phone, iPods, and so on. We are allowing the country to be taken over like we took it from the Native Americans, and where are they now? Living poor on reservations. Again, no justice!

Mr. Boardman, I am very sorry your son was hurt and no one bothered to help him, and no one is being held responsible for the incident.

We as Americans need to start protecting our great country before we don’t have a great country. God bless the USA!
