June Beatrice Johnson, 77, of 1662 N. CR 350W, Warsaw, passed away peacefully in her sleep Dec. 25, 2009, in her home.

She was born June 18, 1932, in Warsaw, to Milton Wilbur and Wilma Blanche Blodgett Warner. On June 18, 1950, she married James W. Johnson, who preceded her in death in August 2000.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1963, moving from South Bend. She was a register for Kosciusko County Health Department, Warsaw. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and American Legion Post 49 Auxiliary, Warsaw; Alpha Beta Sigma Pi Sorority and a former Brownie troop leader.

Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Anette Marker, Ypsilanti, Mich.; four sons: William Lee (and spouse Esther) Johnson, Michael Terry (and spouse Sheryl) Johnson and Alan Gale (and spouse Debra) Johnson, all of Warsaw; and Will Casey Johnson, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a stepbrother and stepsister.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw.
