NORTH MANCHESTER – Julia T. Price Ostrander, 42, of South Bend, and formerly of North Manchester, died at 3:41 a.m. Feb. 21, 2013, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born Aug. 1, 1970, in Wabash, to Roger I. and Roberta C. Tyson Price. On June 20, 1987, she married Gerald L. “Jerry” Bowers, who died Dec. 15, 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Maranda Sloan, Oil City, La.; six brothers: Paul D. Rogers, Greenfield; Michael Price, Iowa; Pat Price, Liberty Mills; Danny Joe Price, Speicherville; Andy Price, Kansas; and Thomas Price, California; three sisters: Debra L. Giddens, Liberty Mills; E. Renee Harshman, Chili, Ind.; and Theresa A. Smith, North Manchester. She was preceded in death by two brothers. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. March 5 at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, Silver Lake. Calling is one hour prior to service March 5 at the church.
