Julane ‘Julie’ BaggettJulane “Julie” Sprague Baggett, of rural Pierceton, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in her home.
Born on Jan. 4, 1951, she had recently celebrated her 69th birthday. She was the daughter of Lou Sprague and Margie Lane Sprague and one of four Sprague children. She was born in Warsaw and attended Warsaw High School, where she graduated with the class of 1969.
A devoted Christian, Julie was a feisty, fun-loving person with a playful but ornery streak. She had a good sense of humor and was a lover of all kinds of music. Her favorites include Stevie Nicks, Mercy Me and anything gospel.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include three children: sons, Jason (Sheila) Mauk, of Pierceton; and Matt (Randi Tinsley) Mauk, of Winona Lake; daughter, Stacey (Lisa Reyes) Mauk, of Fort Wayne; and mother, Margie Sprague, of Parker City. Also surviving are four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Brad and Scott Sprague.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Lou Sprague; and brother, Mark Sprague.
A private graveside service will be held in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery.
