ARGOS — Joyce Elaine Mullins Wright, 67, Michigan Road, Argos, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 12, 2017, at her residence in Argos, where she had been in declining health.
Joyce was born Dec. 30, 1949, in Rochester, to John Mullins and Margaret Lindley Mullins. She had lived in the Argos community since 1968, coming from Etna Green.
On July 8, 1967, in Etna Green, she married Harold Junior Wright. He preceded her on April 8, 2016.
Joyce was the secretary and janitor for the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos; she was a housewife/homemaker.
Joyce was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos; she was also a volunteer for Marshall County Meals on Wheels. Joyce attended Triton High School, Bourbon.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Chad Allen Wright (wife Melissa), Argos, and Timothy Wayne Wright (wife Deana), Plymouth; granddaughters: Cloey Wright, Zailie Wright, Madison Wright and one soon-to-be grandchild; brother, Jerry Mullins (wife Nancy), Weatherford, Texas; stepmother, Patricia Mullins, Etna Green; stepsisters, Cynthia Clark (husband Dave), Pierceton, and Deb Flenar (husband Mike), Warsaw; and stepbrother, Terry Hall (wife Linda), Leesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Judy Roberts; and stepbrother, Steve Hall.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Road, Argos.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Dec. 15, at the church, with the Rev. Lloyd Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
