NORTH MANCHESTER – Joyce Ann West, 61, of North Manchester, died at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 11, 2012, in her residence.
She was born March 27, 1950, in Wabash, to Jerry E. and Reva Burnett West.
She was a homemaker and nurse’s aide at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw; worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, for 28 years; then a nurse’s aide at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. She was a member of Church of Christ and the Covered Bridge Quilt Club, both in North Manchester. She attended Manchester High School.
Surviving are four sons: John (and spouse Michele) Spangle, North Manchester; Dennis Spangle, Silver Lake; Scott (and spouse Diana) Spangle, Claypool; and Brent Spangle, Rochester; two brothers, Paul Timothy West, Lafayette, Colo., and David G. West, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at Church of Christ, North Manchester, officiated by Pat Powers. Calling is one hour prior to the service Jan. 21 at the church.
