Josephine Catherine Hollar, 93, died at 12:35 a.m. Jan. 11, 2011, in Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen.

She was born June 24, 1917, in Marshall County, to Charles Samuel and Nancy Faye Robinson Miller. On June 17, 1937, in Nappanee, she married DeeWayne Hollar, who died Nov. 5, 1971.

Living most of her life in the Atwood area, she was a cook at the Atwood Café and Atwood schools. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood, and volunteered for the Kosciusko County Red Cross for more than 50 years.

Surviving are two sons, Larry (and spouse Patricia) Hollar, Warsaw, and Dick (and spouse Sharon) Hollar, Etna Green; a daughter, Sandra (and spouse Rick) Jenkins, Nappanee; a sister, Betty (and spouse Dennis) Stillson, Bremen; three brothers: Wayne Miller, Roann; Richard (and spouse Betty) Miller, Venice, Fla.; and Fred (and spouse Janet) Miller, South Bend; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Stormy Scherer-Berry of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Atwood. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
