Joseph R. Nelson, 73, Etna Green, died Tuesday May 5, 2026.
He was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Indianapolis, to Oscar and Fannie Thompson Nelson. Joseph would join the United States Navy where he was a welder on the USS Worden.
On Aug. 24, 1973, he married Lola Hardesty, who survives.
